This blog is currently dedicated to... the MBC Sitcom 'Standby'! However, if you are looking for content relating to the Korean drama "Brain," feel free to browse through my previous posts as I have shared quite a lot of goodies there. :3 For now, I will be using this as my personal rant and reblog blog as I don't feel comfortable posting some things on my main account. Brain (브레인) - Episode 19 Preview (+ Rumors!)

Sorry this is late, and many of you probably have seen it already, but I decided to post it up just in case some have not heard the English translation or the many rumors going on about what could happen… :P

Translation courtesy of Aja Marie from the Brain FB Fan Page:

Dr Kim says, ” Dr Lee and I have very ethereal/delicate tie/fate/connection (meaning from the 20 yrs ago till the present time where dr lee operated on him)”… Chairwoman says, “Dr Kim left but didn’t leave info where he was going….” Dr Lee says, “The reason I didn’t say anything about you (Yu-Jin) having a daughter is not that i wasn’t interested in you, but i just thought that it (having a daughter) was an unimportant factor to me.”

Really, there are many MANY possibilities for where the last two episodes could be heading. And we all know very well that these previews tend to be extremely misleading… From just one look, people would suspect that the wedding shown was Dr. Lee and Yoo Jin’s wedding (because of the order of the scenes and possibly because of what he said), but now… I am hearing that this is not his wedding at all, but Ha Young [his sister] and Bong Gu’s wedding and he is the one escorting her down the aisle (since both their parents have passed away). There have even been pics from Chinese fans showing the difference between bridegroom outfit and a “best man” outfit in Korean weddings, and KH’s suit shown in the preview matched that of the best man’s.

People are also saying that the reason KH is mending Ruby’s doll (and is so nice to YJ) is because YJ and her daughter remind him of his mother and him. His relationship with her is not romantic, but it is more friendship, out of pity, and genuine care. He has grown to actually become human, to actually show love to others without thinking only of himself. For me, I actually like their interactions. It’s something fresh and new from what we normally see in Korean dramas.

As for the last scene with Ji Hye in different clothes, some think that she is leaving the Chunha hospital… Supposedly her new outfit signifies a time jump? Really, that one scene is so ambiguous… others note that they could see her holding something. Possibly the bouquet (from Ha Young’s wedding) or Ruby’s doll?

Gah, this preview is driving me nuts! I really hope everything is sorted out correctly in the end.

I want to hear your thoughts and opinions! What do you guys think is going to happen in the finale? Or maybe… what do you wish to happen?
